About this deal

Timer: The electriQ 12 Litre Dehumidifier features a built-in timer, you can set a delayed power on, or even a delayed power off setting. There's no doubt the company produces some excellent dehumidifiers. We have our concerns about after-care service, repairs and finding spare parts, but the best Electriq dehumidifiers can match bigger brands for water extraction, price and advanced features. Extracting 12L of moisture per day using compressor technology, it’s easy to empty the 6L water tank. Attach the included hose and enjoy continuous dehumidifying. We have a few complaints about this model though. The main problem is that we feel it's overpriced, considering the basic features and 12L extraction rate. It's also relatively noisy and surprisingly heavy.

One nice thing about this design is that the controls are very simple to use. They consist of only 4 buttons – two are up and down buttons for adjusting the humidity level, one is for turning the unit on & off, while the last button is for accessing a timer function. There is also an LCD screen that displays the humidity level of a room. LED indicator lights that show chosen settings, when the dehumidifier is on, and when the tank is full are great additions as well. These levels are automatically shown on the front of the unit. Although there is around a 2-minute delay after a different level of humidity has been detected. The LED indicator can be turned off if you wish, although I don’t understand why you’d want to. Using the Humidifier. One complaint we have about this model is the 5 litre water tank. While this is bigger than most tanks, we would have liked a 6 litre tank considering the high maximum extraction rate. It's also not cheap, so there are probably better options if you don't need the "Smart" features. There are several brands of 12L dehumidifier, but the ElectriQ 12L dehumidifier stands tall. It features a wide array of features that aren’t found in standard 12L dehumidifiers. Below are some of its outstanding features. 2.5L water tank Rather impressively there is a silver ion filter fitted into this unit – something usually only reserved for more expensive dehumidifiers. It works and looks like a standard filter but has the added touch of a silvery coating. The coating kills bacteria and other harmful microbes making for a healthier home environment. This dehumidifier is one of the most common models. It is effective in removing up to 12L of water a day from the air. The device features a 1.5L reservoir tank that has an automatic shut off when the maximum capacity is reached. It comes with an adjustable humidity control feature that helps you set your humidity extraction between 40% to 80%. Also, it features remarkable features such as overflow hose pipe for continuous flow, 24-hour time for easy control, and castor wheel for portability, making it ideal for large homes and offices. Comparing the Electriq 12L and Netta 12L Dehumidifier The electriQ 12 Litre Dehumidifier is perfect. It’s easy to use and makes a huge difference to me and my Asthma. I especially like the LED lighting indicator which is easy to follow and understand. Emptying the water tank is easy too and you’ll be just as surprised as me as to how much condensation has been collected.

The other downside is that the tank only has a slightly low capacity of 2 litres. Therefore, while it is relatively easy to empty the tank, the process will need to be repeated more often. This electriQ Low Energy dehumidifier is labeled as a small and compact unit that is ideal for smaller spaces. However, with a good extraction rate of up to 10 litres a day, the dehumidifier can easily handle large rooms. But, like all dehumidifiers, maximum water extraction is only possible under the specific conditions it was measured under (30 degrees C at 80% relative humidity). While both gadgets extract 12L of water per day, the ElectriQ 12L dehumidifier is a better option when it comes to the water tank capacity. The NETTA dehumidifier can only hold up to 1.5 litres, as compared to ElectriQ 12L dehumidifier which holds up to 2.5L. Free unlimited phone support with a UK dedicated claims line. We have a dedicated claims line and are here to help.Let's start with the basics though. It's a refrigerant (compressor) dehumidifier with a built-in humidistat, digital display and a 24 hour timer. Weighing 9.5kg, it's considerably lighter than the 20L version, and also much smaller. The plain white design isn't going to win any awards for innovation, but it's clean and simple to use. Because compressor dehumidifiers operate several degrees below room temperature, they tend to freeze in cold environments. For this reason, the manufacturer has included a smart automatic defrost function in this machine. The technology behind this inclusion is to prevent ice build-up on the evaporator coils. This intelligent defrost protects the unit, keeping it at optimum functionality for a long time. Built-in timer It’s not just us shouting about how great our stuff is – some of our products have won awards for their top quality and their value for money! With a 10 litre capacity, the Electriq CD10L is clearly designed for smaller homes than the excellent CD20LE. Unfortunately, we don't think it matches the performance of its bigger sibling.

Our Extended 2 Year Warranty from Buy It Direct gives you the reassurance that if an electrical or mechanical fault arises you won't be exposed to costly repair bills. Our dedicated technical team will take care of your dehumidifier. But from what is available, the dehumidifier is a big favourite among users with an average satisfaction rating of over 90%. Users have nothing but praise for the unit describing it as easy to use, very effective’, really efficient, and a fabulous machine overall. There’ also a built-in handle on the top too, which seems to hold the weight of the unit and feels quite sturdy. electriQ 12 Litre Dehumidifier.Once activated, the auto feature simply switches the dehumidifier on and off as the moisture content in the home increases and decreases. The goal is to keep the room’s humidity at the level you have set whilst using the least amount of energy possible. With a range of domestic dehumidifiers, relatively low prices and some interesting new features (including smart connectivity and antibacterial properties), it's easy to see why consumers are starting to take note of this new company. The idea behind the supplied hose is that you can plumb it into the water outlet and have a permanent drain for your collected condensation. I didn’t use this and instead used the standard water tank method. The carry handle is promoted as a feature for transporting the unit upstairs yet the manual warns not to use the handle to carry the unit upstairs. Perfect for dehumidifying living rooms, bathrooms, laundry rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, caravans, offices and motor homes.
