First of all the music is very quiet mastered and barely come out from your speakers. You need a giant amplifier and big speakers to heard good the music. Also the music it seems slightly muddy and have not the explosion or any bright thing. Perhaps the original CD can sound with more power and explosion. But the sound here is more warmer and that save little the whole thing but still i don't enjoy the album from this pressing specially when i had the "Allied US Pressing" in my collection that has "DM Mastering". From there the album it sound completely different and amazing.

Lastly I want to say something that i did't in this entire list. In this list I spoke only for vinyl pressings and not for CDs or Cassettes. But i want to say that the Original CD or the "Vertigo 89 Reissue (that has the original sound and mastering) have great and very decent sound and in my opinion they sound much better than some pressings on that list. This vinyl here it seems has the power and the explosion of the original CD but with more clear sound without noises and better separate instruments. This pressing is one of the most serious pressings you can get. No inner groove distortions, no muffled sound like the 1st "MFN" pressing and not big noises like the "MFN 45 RPM version". This is the most balance vinyl i have listen from the album right now. It takes this place on that list because the above pressings have some other benefits that I like too. The syncopated riffing of "Leper Messiah" challenges the hypocrisy of the televangelism that emerged in the 1980s. The song describes how people are willingly turned into blind religious followers who mindlessly do whatever they are told. [31] The 136 beats per minute mid-tempo riffing of the verses culminates in a descending chromatic riff in the chorus; it increases to a galloping 184 beats per minute for the middle section that climaxes in a distorted scream of "Lie!". [26] The title derives from the lyrics to the David Bowie song " Ziggy Stardust". [8] Austriancharts.at – Metallica – Master of Puppets" (in German). Hung Medien. Retrieved July 3, 2021. All in all, this is an excellent version of the album and i believe everyone can love more the album from here because the "Master of Puppets" mixing was very poorly and the music was very weak to come out from your speakers. But here "DMM" helps the album to be more powerful despite this version has some extra noises. This is the most famous version of the album for many reasons. But the most important is because it has insane sound quality.

The music is quiet mastered and you get the same dead sound without explosion or any brightness. Also the instruments are very weak and barely come out from your speakers. You can feel the same things and in the 1st "France" pressing of "Ride the Lightning" that was pressed by "MPO". So yeah i want to stay away from these mastering plants. In the beginning i did't like that much this "Rhino" version but after a few more listenings i changed my mind a little bit. Don't get me wrong. I still believe this is not the best version of the album but i must to admit that is a High Quality release and it deserves your attention. ARIA Charts – Accreditations – 1996 Albums" (PDF). Australian Recording Industry Association . Retrieved November 9, 2021. Overall a very expensive material but deserve the money to get one copy soon. This is the 2nd best version of the album in my opinion after the legendary "Columbia House" edition below.
